New York City is the greatest place for painting material. It has the greatest variety of people anywhere. A variety of ethnic clothing, musicians playing on the streets, and vendors selling fruits and vegetables are all available to put on canvas. You can have a landscape, figure painting, still life and street scene all in one painting. I can paint or draw on the street and nobody notices me. Everyone is too busy. This painting is done from thumbnails and photos.
